Is Knitting Jumpers for Chickens a good idea????

Can you stack some straw bales around some of the run to give them a sheltered place where they can get out of the wind?

I like that idea for the winter.... gives them something to pick at in the run too!!! i like it thanks!!

Sorry, chicken sweaters are a pet peeve here.

A sweater on a chicken can actually make them colder,
not to mention stress the heck out of them.

They 'fluff' up their feathers to manage their temperature.
A sweater will compress the feathers against the body,
so they can't hold their body heat in.

If you want to play dress up with an animal, get a chihuahua .....
......or one of those concrete geese.

Oh I'm sure! Maybe cut the white part off tube socks so they'd have different colors to wear My husband said we can call them Not Just for Naked Necks and put little hoodies on them
