Hi I got some durvet layer booster today as well as some durastat. My question is will it hurt my rooster for him to drink the layer booster water too or is it okay?

Okay, I just wanted to double check before I gave it to them because I have 2 out of 5 hens laying currently. I'm giving them durastat right now to help make sure they are healthy and then I'm going to give them a break and give them regular water and then I'll start my laying boosterIt looks to be fine for all chickens. Nothing that should harm a rooster.
They have a healthy diet, lots of room in their run to exercise, and they always have fresh water available but I have 3 hens that aren't laying yet so I'm trying to give them a little boost back on trackThey really only need a fresh well balanced chicken ration and good clean plain water to be healthy![]()
Ah, are they older and struggling somehow? They have a healthy diet, lots of room in their run to exercise, and they always have fresh water available but I have 3 hens that aren't laying yet so I'm trying to give them a little boost back on track
Yes, I got them at a sell last year so I'm not positive on how old they are but we have had them a little over a year and when we got them they was already layingAh, are they older and struggling somehow?
The 'boost' might help...but you might have to be patient too.Yes, I got them at a sell last year so I'm not positive on how old they are but we have had them a little over a year and when we got them they was already laying
Okay thank you I'll go edit my profileThe 'boost' might help...but you might have to be patient too.
My older birds are slowly coming back into lay after winter break,
and I have them under supplemental lighting.
