I just put my 6-week old chicks through a round of Corid. At the recommendation of people on this site, i wanted to give them some yogurt. My husband did the shopping, and he brought home Yoplait Peach Flavored LIGHT yogurt, with aspartame. Is this better than nothing right now until we can get back to the store? Or will the aspartame hurt them?

I don't think the aspartamine will hurt them in small amounts, but switch to natural or vanilla regular yogurt as soon as possible, Activia would be good. And don't give the chicks very much of the light yogurt- their bodies are tiny and anything in large enough doses could be harmful.

try and feed the real sugar kind but won't hurt them once in a while
I always made yogurt, dry feed, milk any kind for p[robiotic for chickens
then they don't waste the yogurt
email me for the recipe
probiotic wet mash
