Is Metzer Farms a good option for buying ducks?

I live in North Carolina and I just wanted to make sure if Metzer farms is a good option for buying ducks.

We got meat birds (cx) from them a couple years ago and I just got my batch of pekins from them day before yesterday.

I would recommend them. There are also multiple companies that their ducks actually come from Metzer, and it is better to order them directly from them. They have really good customer service everytime I have called them or emailed them.

We got our Welsh Harlequin ducks from there, too. I would have loved to use our duck insurance to replace our drake we lost early this year, but sadly that was not in the cards. I felt it was excellent customer service though, and I have only ever had positive feedback on BYC about how our girls grew out.

I got 4 ducklings from them this year. No problems. In the past I’ve ordered ducklings from Murray McMurray but I heard that they come from Metzler anyway so I figured now I’ll just order direct from Metzler.. and I live in Maryland, so it was a long ship, but they did fine

I have not purchased from them but I live in Memphis where they are shipped from. Metzer moved here last year so that they could ship overnight using FedEx/usps. My son used to work at FedEx loading the planes, so, I can vouch for how quickly they are shipped and the care they receive along the way.

I got 14 (ordered 13) from them and they're pretty much perfect. Right sexes, an extra thrown in, all healthy and looking just like they should. Only complaint is I think one of my pekins was actually a Jumbo instead of the regular, but it could very honestly be that she just jumped into the wrong bin since they look exactly the same as each other besides the weight difference later on.
