Is my 17 week old brown leghorn close to laying?

I have a 17 week old brown leghorn who’s comb and wattles have been growing and reddening. She has also been checking out the nesting boxes a bit. Do you think she will be laying soon?

They usually pink/red up like that in the comb about 1 month prior to onset of lay.

Checking out nesting boxes is a good sign. Do you have fake eggs in there for her to see?

Yes, I have 1 fake egg in one of the nesting boxes, but I do have 4 laying hens so there are usually eggs in the nesting boxes. Thank you.
