I've been reading that the red on the comb of a RIR should not show up until they are around age of lay and that they should be a yellow color until that point. I have four 5-6 week old RIR chicks. One in particular has a comb that is much bigger and much more red than the others. Do y'all think I have a roo on my hands?
Here she/he is

Here is another with a bit of red in the comb

The other two have a much smaller, yellow comb

The first one I am pretty sure is a roo. That that comb is very bright and big for 6 weeks. Tough to tell with the other one but slight lean to roo. I’ll attach pictures of my 2 RIR hens. They are 12 weeks old and don’t even have combs that big

Thank you for the pics for comparison! I was thinking that comb was awfully big and red for a hen! :)
