Is my baby ok?

I know it's not a very good picture but I couldn't get her to hold still. She's a silver Phoenix which is a pretty uncommon breed to see on here but she's about six weeks now and she doesn't really look like she is the right size. When I bought three week old Rhode Island red and BO chicks they were bigger than this. Is she unhealthy or just a smaller chicken?

I did a little search and it looks like this is a smaller breed. It seems she will only be about 4 lbs at maturity (1.8 kgs = 3.96 lbs).
They also come in a bantam variety, even smaller.
She's so pretty!

Hi @Spiritwarrior I'm not a breed expert but a Silver Phoenix is a small ornamental bird, so there would be no use comparing her to large fowl like RIR and BO.

You never can tell, but from the photo I see nothing wrong with her size or appearance. If she is eating/drinking well, active and seems happy within herself, then all is well.

Thanks so much you guys! It's my first time raising chickens and I have a flock of 15 so of course I want to make sure that all is well with each one of them. I'm happy to hear it!

btw- She's lovely, I really like the color, I don't have any small birds, but someday I would like to have some - I'm going to have to do some more reading and see if they may be right for me.
