Hi everyone,

Hopefully the pictures are good enough. Could anyone tell me if this is a cockerel? (I think it is) and what breed of bantam it is? It has feathered feet. I’m not overly concerned with the breed just the gender. 10 weeks old.

Thanks in advance, Jenny 😊

Agree cockerel. I would bet money that he is golden laced Wyandotte bantam crossed with a buff Cochin bantam. That cross would give you the comb, body build, feathered feet and the color black patterned buff with incomplete lacing.
Thank you for the suggestions on what his breed mix could be, I shall research them 😊 He’s beautiful, looks and nature, (hopefully this doesn’t change when his hormones kick in!) He is definitely my favourite. Would he likely produce offspring of a similar colour if I bred him do you think? Any suggestions on what would be a good mix for him, don’t worry if you haven’t. I’m just really becoming a chicken/bantam nerd, I love them 🥰
