I have 4 8 week old Buff Orpingtons and I’m worried that two of them are roos, because if they are we have to get rid of them and I love them all to pieces.
The two I think might be Roos started to grow long tail feathers on top and one of them has a very red comb.

One reason why I think she may not be be a rooster though is that she is the smallest one, though not at the bottom of the pecking order.

Bea is at the top of the pecking order and is the largest, but her comb isn’t that red.

Is it too early to tell?

Here’s a picture of the one I suspect is a girl for comparison

(She was falling asleep on my lap😆)

Thank you!
