I have 4 8 week old Buff Orpingtons and I’m worried that two of them are roos, because if they are we have to get rid of them and I love them all to pieces.
The two I think might be Roos started to grow long tail feathers on top and one of them has a very red comb.
Matilda:
One reason why I think she may not be be a rooster though is that she is the smallest one, though not at the bottom of the pecking order.
Beatrice:
Bea is at the top of the pecking order and is the largest, but her comb isn’t that red.
Is it too early to tell?
