We have 3 buff Orpingtons and we think one of them is a roo, we are pretty new to the chicken thing so we wanted some help! They are about 2-4 months old and one chicken has a significantly bigger comb than the others. Any help is appreciated!

There's a difference between 2 mos and 4 mos. If you have a better idea of age, it would help. At 2 mos all that red in the face would make me think boy, but 4 mos makes me think girl close to laying. As I don't see any long saddle feathers and it looks much closer to 4 than 2 months due to overall feathering, I'm guessing it's a girl.

I'm thinking hen, too, but watch out! We had a Buff sold to us as a hen, found out when the bird was around 4-5+ mo old that it was a roo!

We were told they were 2
Months when we got them but they were extremely small so we guessed they were maybe a month or a month and a half and we've had them for 3
Months so they're probably 4 months old we just weren't sure. Thanks for the help!
