I have 7 black australorps born feb 14 and at 2 weeks old the cockerel(he's on purpose) became evident with larger comb and wattles.forgive the blurry pix. this is at 1 week . he's the blurry chick.he ALSO was more alert-stood at attention more than the girls from day one.

I have a baby about two weeks old that looks just like yours. They are telling me he is deffinatly a roo. If youy want to see the pics I posted some on this forum, under the title Chick Identification.

glad to hear he might still be a she. time will tell, of course but i'm so impatient! next week i am selling these (at cost) as started pullets to families around here that want to start a flock. I don't know if I can sell this one knowing she might be a he, and so one of my families will not get one of the chicks they ordered. On the other hand, I cannot keep her as I have a new batch of chicks coming and we plan to keep some of those.
