Is my chick shrink wrapped?

I had a few pip this morning and hatch and then I have one who looks like he's stopped half way. Took him out to double check he hadn't died and he moved and chirped inside egg. I put a small bit of water on the membrane and popped him back into the incubator with the others. I put more water in but I'm worried either I've shrink wrapped him by taking him out or that he's stuck in the egg

The membrane was a little brown when I looked at it. Does that mean it's dried out?

If it's stuck in the egg because it stopped making progress, I'd pop the top part of the eggshell off. Gently pull the head out and then put it back into the incubator and see if it will push out on its own.

Wasn't sure where the head was. Hatched her out in the end and shes asleep in the incubator now hopefully she will fluff up and be ok in a few hours. There was no blood or anything on her she just looked like she ran out steam

She's got a bad case of wry neck by the looks of her but she's strong enough to kick her feet and all. I'll leave her overnight in the incubator and see what happens tomorrow morning
