Is my chick sick ?

Hi everyone,

I have a 6 week old chick and I just noticed today that it's eye is a little saggy and there are a few small bubbles in it.

Is my chick sick ? It is acting and eating perfectly normal apart from it's eye.

Have any of your other chickens had respiratory illness?

Droopy eye with bubble or foam can be an indication of respiratory illness or possibly an eye infection from a scratch/debris. Flush the eye with saline and apply some Terramycin eye ointment or Vetericyn eye gel to the eye.
