Is my chicken a hen or a rooster?

I hope you all are well
I promise this is the last time I annoy you all with my questions.
I have another chicken I am very uncertain of and would appreciate your assistance.
She was sold to us as a black leghorn hen but we think she's a rooster.
She squats with her tail up buttttt she has bright orange saddle feathers starting to develop which look pointy.
Her comb is still relatively small and we estimate her age to be about 15 weeks of age.
She is quite small and we don't think she's a rooster because she squats but also has saddle feathers. Please help

Hmn. That is quite a conundrum. Judging by the comb color is hard, since it is fifteen weeks... I would observe. Those saddle feathers say boy, but I am just not sure. My rooster Elrond sits just like that, though, haha! I would watch for a crow at this point.

It's a cockerel, and is not a Leghorn. He has a pea comb, and it doesn't seem so small to me. Plus it is red. If I had to guess breed, I'd say Sumatra crossed with something else.

How old is this one? That could help. It has male specific feathering on its back and saddle area, and in my experience pullets will never get that.

Probably a late blooming cockerel. But I wouldn't completely rule out that something else may be going on. Sometimes you get genetic anomalies where a chicken isn't 100% male or female. And very rarely one of the long tailed breeds will have a female with male type feathering at the saddle area. So I would just keep an eye on this bird, and if it starts developing male traits more rapidly in the near future then you will know for sure you have a cockerel. Otherwise, post updates if you can. It may be an unusual case.
