is my chicken going to lay?

hi my chicken is 9 weeks old and she has not layed she has not shown any sines of laying eather she is a Plymouth rock

I’ve even heard of hens not starting until 7-8 mos! It also depends on the time of yr they come into lay.

I don't understand...the original post says 9 WEEKS not 9 MONTHS...? Chickens usually start laying around 20 weeks so if the original post was correct then you are about half way there!
