We just converted a cyclone fence dog run with a roof to a chicken coop. We enclosed three sides with plywood. Will the chickens be warm enough?

I think that might be fine, although, if you are at a point of expecting some colder than usual temps in the winter months, then I would provide for some way of closing the fourth side. That being said, chickens are much happier when it is cooler than when it is hot. You also want to have a place where they can stay dry. I know you have your rainy season out there, and you don't want your chickens in the mud, and they need a dry dust box/bath at all time to help them keep the itchy critters off. Hope that is of some use.
