Is my Delaware pullet a cockerel?

That's encouraging! She is nearly solid white--no smut or markings of any kind on her back and neck--just a few black tail and wing feathers. Thanks everyone for the help!!! It is MUCH appreciated!!!

Well...pullet or cockerel? I am curious because I am in the same boat. Have 6 Delawares. Hoping for mostly hens!

The legs do seem big but that doesn't always mean cockerel. My first chickens were three Delawares we got from a feed store that we named Martie, Natalie, and Emily (after the Dixie Chicks). Natalie and Emily were text book pullets from the start, small feet, pale tiny combs, and very cautious personalities. Martie on the other hand... not so much. She had big feet and a big comb for her age that was just a bit brighter than the others'. She was also fearless, loud, protective of her sisters, and just loved to lead the others into mischief. When they were about 5 or 6 weeks old they were being kept in a lidded (with holes) action-packer inside at night to protect them from cats, one night I watched from our dark hallway as Martie wedged her beak in the crack between lid and box and jimmied it open, she then led the other two out and sneaked into the kitchen without making a peep, just as they were about to get into the bag of feed in the corner I walked into the kitchen saying, "Bad chickens!", Natalie and Emily bolted back into the room they came from while Martie just stared at me like I was being rude for interrupting her midnight snack. We were sure that Martie was a rooster and were just waiting for that first crow to confirm our suspicions. I was pretty bummed because I liked Martie and my parents have a strict "it crows, it goes" policy. But it never happened and when they reached full size she looked just like the other two only way bigger, she's a huge hen. And she turned out to be our best layer as well, we would get two eggs a day in her prime, and at five years old she still lays pretty regularly. Sorry this was so long but I was just trying to show you that it's pretty easy to misjudge the sex of these birds.
