I just got two Goats, a buck and a doe. The Doe was in with a couple males, and she is very heavy and she seems to have a large utter. She seems to be under a year old.

That animal is in horrible condition. My goats have all been dairy crosses, so I'm used to seeing bony backs, but that's not just bony, it's emaciated. I assume this goat is a rescue, and nobody knows much about her? She needs to see a vet, pronto. That is a significant udder, but whether that big belly indicates a current pregnancy, or a massive worm load, I couldn't say.

That poor thing has been starved. She looks knocked up to me and I feel for her. I'd be surprised if the kid makes it if she hasn't already miscarried.

She was under trees and was running around and she got her fur all messed up, and it was raining. They have been dewormed and has been fed just fine. They are not rescues.

She is much bigger than she looks in the pictures. I think it’s the shading. And she is a Nigerian dwarf.

Okay well keep watching her. No need in getting upset with me about her. I am not there to see her. Only you are. Have a vet examination done and go from there. Or just start giving her more feed and hopefully she will have a successful delivery.

Okay, sorry if I came off rude, I just think it’s the shading because it’s been raining a lot and the suns not out. Thank you so much for the help

I have goats too and yes your Doe is pregnant as far as I can tell by her physical appearance. She is bagging up so I think she should deliver in the next week or more. Not sure if this is her first time though so kind of hard to know what exactly is going on.
