I have a three month old khaki cambell and was wondering if it was male or female? Anything can help.

Yes you can, but the only way to be 100% sure is to see if a drake feather comes in or it lays an egg. I've had a female that sounded like a drake and acted like one, only found out she was actually a she when I saw her on a nest laying an egg

Sexing by drake feather's isn't the most accurate way of sexing, some males don't develop them, or they get pulled off. Yes, some females will talk like a male, but that is a VERY rare occurrence, so at least 99% of the time sexing by voice is accurate, and easier than vent sexing the bird.

Interesting, Is that in your experience with keeping them?
I noticed it with my first two ducks (which are pictured) several years ago. So, I asked others on this sight and they confirmed it. Since then I have hatched several dozen Khakis and Khaki mixes and have helped others decide the gender of theirs. It has never been wrong. I was told by the person who originally confirmed my observation that it will work for other "lacewing" ducks as well. I'm not positive what that means but I believe that would include Mallards and Rouens. I have not raised either breed but if you watch the pictures on here, it seems to work.
