Is my duck okay?

That's interesting, I will have to give it a try. He has not molted yet, my other Muscovies usually molt in the fall so it might be a while.
If you have future ducks with angel wing and catch it soon enough, you can fix it. But, you are right - it doesn't hurt them as it is only cosmetic. Prevents them from flying. ;)

He always has access to food and water, and we originally fed him MannaPro medicated feed when he was a baby and now we feed him cracked corn, along with plenty of greens (clover, spinach, lettuce, peas, etc). We live in a temperate climate, southern US. View attachment 1417862 View attachment 1417862 View attachment 1417865He's growing more feathers now, and he was doing better (hasn't gotten any bigger, but has more feathers). We put him in the bathtub every day for about a half hour for exercise and to strengthen his legs. However, the other day i checked on him and i think his leg is broken, up where the leg joins the spine. What's the best way to care for a break like that? (I have two pictures, the second one is where the break is)
Change to an unmedicated growers feed straight away and keep him on this until 20 weeks old. This will give him the higher level of protein he needs to grow while he's young. Never give ducks a medicated feed. Medicated feeds are poisonous to ducks as they eat too much at once (chicks are not as greedy) and can overdose.
Add approx. 1 tablespoon of Brewers yeast daily into the feed to boost the vitamin b levels and that should strengthen his legs. Avoid spinach and reduce the corn to an occasional treat as it doesn't have the nutrition he needs as a main feed.
Reduce the swim time to 10 minutes but perhaps twice daily - he's quite weak and 1/2 an hour will really tire him out. He will manage shorter, more frequent exercise periods much better.
Keep him warm after his swims until he's fully dry again as he doesn't have his waterproof feathers and so will chill really easily.
Good luck!
