is my easter egger a pullet? almost 6 week old

Oh man, she's gonna keep you guessing until she lays an egg or crows. I had one of those too, she's a blue/orange color and I second guessed myself until the day she laid an egg. At this point you should be able to check for pointy hackle feathers on the neck. If you find them it's a roo, if not you've got a girl.

Still looking girly. That's just not the dried-blood red a rooster gets and the patterning is smooth.

She definitely looks like a pullet. She has very feminine coloring for an Easter egger. Usually the roos have a lot bolder, blotchy coloring while the hens have more of a smooth, blended coloring.

Wow she has coloring just like one of mine! Mine is also around 8-9 weeks. I’m pretty sure mine is a hen. I’m new to EE but I hear they are hard to tell
