Thanks so much! this chicken is kind of aggressive with the others, and the colors are so different. I'll hope for an egg soon :)

Your welcome! Some hens are just bossy. Lol so many different personalities. Cross your fingers for no crowing. lol

How old is this bird? If it's less than 16 weeks old or so, it's a cockerel.

The coloring is very common for a cockerel, and that's an awful lot of pink comb--including three rows of peas--for a young pullet.

About 4 months old.. :/

That's a tough one, then. I think it could go either way.
Does the bird have any long, skinny, shiny feathers coming in just in front of the tail? I couldn't tell from the photos. If yes--> cockerel
If you hold a piece of paper under the feathers on the neck, are they rounded or pointy? (the reason you use the paper is that lots of pullets have rounded feathers on their necks, but the lacing is pointed, so if you don't look closely, the feathers look pointed when they're not). If pointy--> cockerel

That being said, if you haven't heard any crowing by 16 weeks, you might have a pullet. You might have to wait for this one to crow!
