Is my EE hen preening me?

I have a 24 week old EE hen who lays and she’s always been my little cuddle bug! She loves being pet and rubbed on her head, chin, and chest! The past few weeks when I’m petting her she gently nibbles at my hand. Not like a peck but more like a gentle nibble/rub. Is she preening me? She also goes through my hair.

Mines the opposite! She doesn’t really want to be picked up but once she’s sitting in your lap she embraces all the love and falls asleep!

I have a chicken that will "preen" my hair and my jeans. Generally, chickens only preen other chickens that are their best of friends, so it looks like you fall into that category! I also have this same chicken jump on my lap. She's super sweet. One time, I was having a bad day and she even rubbed her little face on my cheek! So cute. It's so awesome to hear that your chickens love you!

And my Easter Egger is also the biggest lap chicken! She gets jealous if I put anyone else on my lap!
