Oh wow, that's hilarious! Mine is the exact same way. If another chicken jumps up she gets all defensive and grumpy!

I have a chicken that will "preen" my hair and my jeans. Generally, chickens only preen other chickens that are their best of friends, so it looks like you fall into that category! I also have this same chicken jump on my lap. She's super sweet. One time, I was having a bad day and she even rubbed her little face on my cheek! So cute. It's so awesome to hear that your chickens love you!

I had a polish hen (Margo) who loved to preen my hair and my clothes! So sweet!!

And my Easter Egger is also the biggest lap chicken! She gets jealous if I put anyone else on my lap!View attachment 2796767

She’s beautiful! So does my Nugget! But if I walk up to her and try to grab her it won’t happen she has to come to me lol!
