We have an egg that I believe is overdue. It still has visable vessels, but didn't see any movement the last time candeling. Thoughts?

Hello! If the egg still has visible vessels, then chances are it is still alive. In my experience, they don’t move all the time. If I had a picture I could give you my thoughts!

Yes, still looks alive to me! It maybe doesn’t have quite as much veins as I would like, but they look healthy. What day is it on?

If it's not pipped put it in some warm water and if it moves its alive if it doesn't move it is probably dead

Actually…I would not really advise that. If it has veins it is still alive, and putting it in water could drown it even if it had a microscopic hairline crack. The float test should really be a last resort when you are almost 100% sure it is dead. But this is just my experience!
