- The anticoccidial drug Nicarbazin;

- Certain antioxidants such as gallic acid and tannic acid;

- Feeding hens raw soybean meal;

- Calcium deficiency in the hens' diet;

- Thin egg shells;

- Can be hereditary.
well, she has free choice oyster shell and none of the other ones apply

I would mark those eggs to see if they have any hatch issues,
providing they are unique enough to do so.

Did you say she was a young layer? This is just a blood spot, usually a piece of reproductive tissue, or perhaps she had a small tear/bleed, and it got caught up in the egg production. You can sort of pick that out before cooking it, but it is safe to eat. Commercial eggs are candled to remove eggs with blood spots, which is why so many folks aren't used to seeing it. My older hens have blood spots often in their eggs.
 
yes, she is almost a year, been laying since October. I figured it was nothing much of any importance.
