Is my girl molting to death?

Thanks, all

I'll put the birds out to free range today while cleaning the pen. Every 6 months I normally pressure wash their entire stall, put some bleach in it, then wash it with water again. I'll look for some Kleen Green at Big R as well. It's supposed to be nice and warm (above freezing) today.
You should also invest in a spray for their stall/coop to kill any mites that live their. I use Sevin Concentrate.

Thanks! I have some Sevin dust but it's just that, dust. I can try to figure out how to get through the pressure washer but wouldn't bleach have the same effect?

Here is a great way to get the dust in everywhere... If you have a leaf blower, googles and a face mask.... Get teh dust all over as much as you can in the coop, then take the leaf blower and blow it all over the coop. Even up high. It'll get in all the cracks and crevices.

Extra protein... Well, take her aside, feed her scambled eggs. Get a higher protien feed, game bird feed is 22%, starter game bird is 26%, if she isn't laying due to the molting, you won't need to worry about added free choice calcium. Just get a small bag off feed and feed her separate if none of the other girls are showing feather loss issues. Have a bowl of calcuim if she's laying, so she can get it when she needs it.

As for worming, ivermectin paste is easy too. pea sized bit. Always handy to have on hand.

Sorry to take forever answering but as you can see, this is a very helpful forum generally.
