Well, the next worst thing to a chicken dying is, I suppose, learning that it's a rooster! I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that we have one, but then there's Gracie, who has always been a nice girl up until recently. Recently, she has begun hopping on the other girls. Is this a sign that she wants to be dominant like the known rooster, or is this because she is a rooster? She is bigger than the other birds and has rusty-colored markings on her wings. I'm not sure if that means anything. I don't know what breed she is. Maybe you can tell me? And the big question that I need answered: Is Gracie really George? Thanks! BTW: If you're in the MA area and want a free rooster, let me know. Unfortunately, town says we can't keep a roo.
