Is my hen a rooster?

Oh my goodness...WOW...talk about changing her mind! LOL!

It's a boy now! lol!

I once had a peahen for several years, but then started growing feathers like those of the peacocks, but of a lower quality. I don't think she was a male. She might have been a female with some hormone problems.

I'm just waitin' to hear "him" crow. I got so many newbies crowing, I will just have to pull up a bucket and sit and watch for a while.

Nice looking roo. It might just be the pic but it sure looks like in those first pics that the hackle and saddle feathers are both pointy. Other than that though I would have thought pullet for sure.

I hear you about wanting hens! I'm praying that most of my straight run bunch turn out to be pullets even though I know the odds are against me

If you look closely at the first picture you'll see some telltale pointed hackle feathers-it's a cockerel.
