Is my hen a rooster?

I have owned my silkie hen for about 6 weeks, but she is not laying like the others, holds itself differently and is quite difficult to handle unlike the others I brought from the same flock. I was told that they were 28 weeks when I brought them, so this one should be around 34 weeks old. I noticed the feathers are looking different and it has streamers, but not a significant cone and is not crowing, so can someone help confirming if it is male or female?

Can anyone help me? I think my silkie hen is a rooster. It is not laying yet, like my other hens from the same flock. Not crowing, but has different feathers, streamers, holds itself differently and is difficult to handle. I have uploaded some pictures, so if someone could help me?
How old?

Can you get a comb picture?

Overall looks female, not unusual for them to lay later, or have some streamers.

About 34 weeks old. I have added a picture, sorry she has been digging in the mud this morning.

Phew! That is a relief. I can’t keep a rooster, because of my neighbours. This is my 8 year old daughters chicken, so she would be devastated if we had to rehome her. Thank you so much for your reply.

You're welcome.

Irritable neighbor, or neighborhood law?

I am in the UK, so not neighbourhood law. Neighbours! We are the only ones with chickens. I had to rehome one 4 weeks ago, because she started crowing, but that one had a big comb. It was very sad for us to let him go.

Getting chickens has been one of the best things I have ever done. They are such characters, we love them so much. Is there any reason this one is difficult to handle and gets so stressed; she holds her beak open and pants when she is handled. Is there anything we can do to make it a better experience for her?

She's sounds like the skittish type. I wouldn't worry too much. Some are naturally skittish, or get that way if not handled much.
