Is my hen purebred or mixed?

theres no way thats an "amber" sex link. by amber i assume you mean either red or gold and in either case the hen would be just that, red or gold. the rooster would be white, not the hen. only way to know for sure is to do a dna test! haha, i would just assume its a white rock and if the bird does end up going broody, then thats a plus! if all you really want is a broody bird just buy a silkie or a cochin. a bird breed that "can" go broody seem to get broody when THEY want to, not when its convenient for you! haha
 
By "amber sex-link" they mean an Amber Link. Which is a white bird with hints of red showing throughout the body. Almost looks like a dirty white bird.
