Hens don't turn into roosters.


Hens will crow too, it's not only a rooster trait. Dominant hens will crow occasionally, especially if there's no rooster present. Though sometimes you do get hens that crow even with a rooster in the flock.

She is 2 y ars old and a few months. She has been laying eggs for years. She really is a she. Lol!

But, she has never done this before. She is two years and a few months old, why is she just now starting to do this? Seems odd all of a sudden.
