The yellow chick in these pics is our free meyer meal maker hen, she looks a lot like our golden buffs ( gold star, gold comet breed) but she somewhat looks different. The breed on this link are the only ones she could be. http://www.meyerhatchery.com/productlist.a5w?session.subcategory=Brown%20Egg%20Layers&subcat=1033

Any
idea, she is starting to feather out. The yellow on her is much more yellow that my week old golden buff chicks.

I was kind of thinking she looked like one, but I haven't seen many pics of those chicks. If she is she will be the largest hen I will have! She is has no problem pushing her way around with the larger older chicks!

I don't think Meyer has those, I can't find it on their website. They told me she could be any of the chicks they hatch out that are on their website, the link I posted. I was thinking she could be a New Hampshire red.

Golden Sex Link - Gold star - Gold Comet, different names for a red/white cross where the pullets will be red and the cockerals will be white (yellow chicks)

Ok, I am new to this

I have 3 other of those, she looks a lot more yellow than they did. you can some of the other ones I have in the back ground. She is the same age as the Dom she is next to on the feeder. They are still much smaller.
