It looks more blue to me. if the feather shaft is dark, it is blue. If it is white, it is lavender....thats the information I found from Jodi's comments.

Beautiful bird. Is it considered a self blue then? I thought blue was darker like a gray? I dont know a whole lot about the color's, I'm confused. To me this looks like what others of self blue/lavender looks like.

Blue can be lighter or darker. Self blue is the same as lavendar. Like Ewesheep said, look at the feather shafts. What color are they?

What color were the parents? Both mom and dad would have had to be either visual lavender, and/or split to lavender in order to produce lavender offspring.
