This chick was from a local farm supply store and listed as an Olive egger. After a little research I think they may get their chicks from Hoover Hatchery and it looks like they use French cuckoo Marans and Ameraucanas for their OE’s. With that in mind, this was taken yesterday and the chick is about 3.5 weeks old. I was told it looked like a cockerel so I wanted to get other opinions.

I know it’s too early to tell but thought it would be fun to get opinions anyways.

You're chick is so cute! Maybe a roo because of the feathers but who knows. Whats it's name?
No names yet for any of the chicks. I had to prep my kids for the possibility of rehoming any males because we can’t have roosters in my city. I was afraid if we named them it would be that much harder to do 😬
