Is my Peachick a Pied??? Please Help!

I had a friend pick a peafowl egg up for me at a huge sale in Ohio (we live in Eastern Kentucky) For $10! The lady told him it was a India blue and had marked it "blue" I put it in the incubator and low and behold to my shock it actually hatched!! My favorite peafowl is hands down a pied! This is my 1st peachick/peafowl so I really don't know much about them! Any tips/information/help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Someone told me to absolutely not feed it medicated chick starter just game feed?!? I've been feeding mine medicated chick starter all week since its hatched but I just switched to half medicated chick starter and half flock raiser and I boiled and smashed up a egg for it today! Anyway I had never seen a peachick besides mine but today I decided to google some and noticed mine is half white and India blues are almost all brown and from what I can tell he looks pied to me what do u professional peafowl people think about it?? What do I got?? Any name suggestions? When can I tell the sex on it? Do u need another picture of its wings? Can u sex pied early?

The India's do have white wings, but someone who raises them will know for sure! Sure is a cute little thing. Congrats on hatching it!

Yes it is an IB Pied ... half of the wings is white ... a white spot on the head and white pants!
I think it's a boy!

It is a pied, very pretty chick.

It's a little early for me to guess at sex, but you want to watch those wing feathers that are brown, right now they have pretty obvious barring(stripes) on them, if this becomes less obvious as it grows it is likely a hen, if they stay just as obvious or get more so, it is likely a male. Congrats!

That's what I've read and the feathers that are coming in on the back of its wings look barred too! ;-) I wanted a pied boy and a ib girl! So hopefully that's what he is! I was told by a lady that he was a bronze pied and although they r worth more that's not what I want I'd rather have a India blue pied! The egg was labeled blue so I assumed India blue! So happy it was a pied cause I can't find them anywhere around here! I googled bronze pied chicks and they looked like the brown on them was more of a solid brown and this one looked almost identical to a ib pied chick I found online! She said he didn't look like any of her India blue pieds!! I think she may be crazy but she does have 50 peafowl so I didn't wanna totally rule it out! What do u guys think?

Bronze pied peachicks are rare and cost a lot more than the regular india blue pied did, you are lucky if this is a bronze pied!
