Is my pullet about to go broody??

Thank you. It might be a bit problematic to lock her in the coop... esp. in the hot weather we have here now.....

I was less concerned at first knowing she is very young, but then remembered I had a few cases of hens going broody in with their very first clutches...

I had a silkie that went broody on her first clutch. I think she was 6 months old.

Your cockerel looks to have golden duckwing colouring and the pullet blue wheaten.

Good luck on finding the eggs!

Update! The pullet probably went broody since today she was seen only once. I have to say I'm very surprised because I wouldn't believe such a young hen will go broody at with her 7th/6th egg only!!!!
Now good luck to us on finding her :(
I don't want her to brood - she is too young and it will fail...

That is possible. My mottled cochin is 3 and is now a good mom but her first year she broody there were times she went broody a few days then stopped being broody.
