Is my Rhode Island Red a Hen or Rooster?

We thought we had 2 Rhode Island Red hens, but recently one of them has been crowing in the morning and acting less friendly. We are wondering if the larger one could be a rooster. I have attached a few pictures, but they are kind of hard to see. Any help would be appreciated!

Yes the one in the foreground in the first photo is a cockerel (male bird under a year old).

I don't mean to be rude but that prefabricated coop is almost certainly too small for the number of chickens you have in it especially when one of them is a cockerel that is or will be getting raging hormones very soon. There is not enough space for the pullets to get away from him and it will become very stressful for them. Unfortunately they are advertised as being able to house more chickens than they comfortably can and problems occur very rapidly once they hit adolescence and it can get very unpleasant quite suddenly. If you are able to free range some of the time that may help but there will be times when they need to be confined and that is when things may come to a head.

Thanks for the feedback but we are making arrangements to give the rooster to a friend that has a farm due to the fact that we live in city limits and us and our neighbors do not like being woken up to a rooster at 5am every morning. It is winter here as well and we just got these birds 5 months ago. We are planning on building our own larger coop in the spring to house our 4 birds.
