So my RIR has a slightly light pink comb that is usually red. This sometimes occurs in my other chickens but only usually after laying egg( which I’m guessing is tiring) but with my RIR it is now pink all the time. When I looked online it said anemia and if course I freaked out because they a have a pretty well balanced diet so i need a second opinion. Thank you

I forgot to add that it sometimes is lighter than that

Friending on where toy are and what time of year, it's very common for comb color to fade during fall as they slow down laying for the year and begin to molt.

But if its spring where you are, or your certain something isn't right check her over for signs of lice or mites and watch her poops for signs of worms. If possible get a stool sample to a vet to be checked for worms.
