The BYC upload does not work, you will need to upload your video to youtube, vimeo or a similar platform then provide us a link.

What I'm trying to get at is if his behavior is outright attacking the youngsters or if it's normal pecking. Understanding what you are seeing would be helpful.

His behavior toward you still needs to be addressed as well. It may be best to re-home him. If the man you offered to take him if you had problems, then talk to him, explain the situation. If the man is still willing to take him, then you should consider letting him go. He may have more room and hens for your guy.
I'll mull it over, I'd love to give rooster to the same guy he has so much more room i mean like an actual pasture, I'll miss my little friend horribly but i know he'd be very happy there. I have plenty of room in my yard and a patch of woods but still i could never do better then that, there he'd also have one or two older roosters to keep him in check.
I just don't want to give away an aggressive bird, he goes for the chicks, it's not normal pecking they've been in the run together and he'd go over and bite them over and over until i separate them for the chicks safety. Rooster has always been so gentle with me and the hens, and since around July he's been very different, i assumed it was because the chicks were here and maybe stressing him out and then when he bit me i assumed it was because he was molting but his behavior isn't getting better and his spurs are only getting sharper.
Thank you, I'll try to get a video later.

Are they all Pullets he attacks or are Cockerels in the mix too?
As far as i can tell they're all pullets, I've posted a few threads here and everyone says they all look like pullets. He's attacking everyone, every one of the chicks has been pecked relentlessly and my little d'uccle even started bleeding at one point and after that i stopped letting the chicks out. I figured rooster would need time to adjust, but it's just not getting better.

Definitely pull him out and get rid of him. I would..

Call the man, explain your situation and see if he will take him.

:hugs I know it won't be easy, but it's probably the best for him and in the long run for you, the pullets and hens too.
i know, it's just hard. I love him so much I've tried so hard to fix him but now in the end none of it was worth it, i wish i had just given him away with his brother a year ago it would've been easier for everyone. He would've been happier. I'm going to try to give him to the man, or if that doesn't work out find someone else to take him soon, i just want to get it over with.
Thank you very much for you and everybody else's knowledgeable advice, I'm glad I've finally gathered up the nerve to do what needs to be done.

one more thing - giving Rooster away means i need to get a new cockerel next year and until then my flock won't be able to free range without my supervision. So just for future reference are there any breeds where the cockerels are more docile? I have my chickens as pets and i would like my little guy to be able to tolerate handling for the most part.

A rooster is not a fix all for free ranging. He is good to sound the alarm, but can't protect hens from predators.

There can be many good roosters and growing up with adult hens can help teach them manners about how he treats the ladies. As for breed...it would be hard to know. There can be good and bad in any breed.
Most roosters do not like being handled a lot. They have job to do, so I would not make it a goal to keep one as a pet.
