Is my rooster hurt ?

Last night something got in to are coop and culled two hens but are rooster was just sitting at the gate looking sad he is pretty droopy and won’t hold up his head or was .what should I do? Ps he is alive

Oh poor boy! He could be in shock due to losing two of his hens. I would place him in a dark room for now in case it is shock. @Wyorp Rock @Eggcessive

Can he stand and walk around? Is he lifting his neck normally? Is his tail up? Sugar water 1 tsp per cup) or electrolytes would be very good to offer him. Both wet chicken feed and dry can be offered to him as well. Can you see any missing feathers or injuries? Are his eyes okay? Do you have other hens? Can you close up any openings in your coop, or place him in a safe place? If his head is down, and he can’t lift it, he may have an injury or wry neck. That can be treated with human vitamin E 400 IU and human B complex from Walmart ($9 each) or other pharmacies.
