He/She looks much like my Barred Rock chicks, well except mine have a "pointy comb" (what little there is of it) but mine are only 7 weeks old.

Update. She just crowed this morning. Drat. Since we live in an apartment building and can't have a noisy rooster he will have to go. Hope to find him a good home.

it looks just like my purebred Plymouth Barred Rocks. It is a little young to tell if it is a rooster yet, but it looks like it might be. If it is a rooster he will start to crow soon!! Mine just started and they are 4 months old. Beautiful.
