I have a SLW, and he has had me confused on gender for some time now. He Is a single comb. He seems so tiny, he is 7 weeks old, and he is only a little bigger than my 3 week olds. Do you guys think he is a bantam? He could just look small compared to his Brahma brother, who is half the size of their mom XD.

How much older is the other chickens? He looks like a red sex link cockerel, especially since you said he's got a single comb :'( I see no lacing indicative of a classic Wyandotte, and slow feathering can be a sign of cockerels (although not a for sure sign in all breeds! I'm not sure if gold sex links are one?)

Its raining right now, so I can't get photos, but I can in a bit.
As for gender I'm really confused. His wattles are getting bigger and redder, but his comb has stayed the same size, turning dark Orange, but not really growing. Nothing like any of my other boys have done.

The feathering actually says pullet to me. Nothing extremely flashy, quite delicate and pretty.

Wyandottes can be confusing, but I'd assume yours is a pullet if that's a single comb. I'd thought it had a rose comb.

Pic of him on my head once if that helps. My friend measured my head once for school, and rubs it in that mine is 20 centimetres, and his is 24. I realize he is on the edge of my neck, so its harder to see. He was 4 weeks old.

They are, but cockerels keep things interesting. Esspesily when you prepare to be trapped in a house for another year, and your only friends are chickens lol. Either way, I love little Penguin, He/she is unique, and cute. I've always liked Little Gray more😉 he is a bit smarter lol, kinda shy, but not flighty, more reserved. I like that, its a interesting personality to my understanding.
