Is Nippy just a slow maturing silkie roo?

This is nippy he is 6 months old. He has some what of a comb that has stayed the same since he has grown one. No wattles he has yet to crow. Is he just a slow maturing male roo? Nippy is my PQ silkie that I saved from being dog bait.

My Silkie roo was born in the beginning of August and he is just now getting into the swing of things. I'm not a silkie expert, but I believe that they are indeed slower than many breeds to mature.
He's a cutie

He looks like a normal 6 month old roo. At least, that is what all mine have looked like so far.

LOL, Ok I was not sure I have some the same age with bigger combs/wattles and that are crowing.
