We have one pullet that we sworn was a roo pointy hackle feathers and everything till she grew and then we could see a fine line of nearly transparent fether around the point of what we thought was the point of the fether
EE can be very difficult to tell the gender of out of 5 that we have that one was confusing us for weeks all the others looked like hen's and acted like them she did not
Looks lika hen to me. Hens can be agressive especially if there is no rooster. I once saw a rooster introduced to a flock of hens where the boss hen came close to kicking his butt. She fought like a roo.
She doesn't try and peck at me or anything and when I hold her she will calm down evebtually but she just is really jumpy. She will jump at me when I'm petting the other girls. She's definitely not the head momma in the hen house though my buff is. She will eat out of my hand but she is always the last one to eat from me and acts super nervous. I got her from a farm that had over 50 pullets running around outside. They strictly there for breeding. I got 10 total for pets/ eggs so we go out there several times of day to spend time with them. So maybe that's why she's behaving that way because she's not used to any interactions with people. I hope she warms up to me.
