Hi, I was wondering if having one male royal palm and one female royal palm would be okay or if I should get more. Will any problems occur with only one female like over mating. I have a big yard about half an acre but I also have chickens and goats.

Hmm. I think it may be ok, if he tries to over breed or seems to be hurting her get more females.

It has been done successfully but it is not the best situation for the health of the hen. If you only want a couple of turkeys for pets, get two hens.

If you want to raise them get at least 3 hens for one tom. I try to keep at least 4 to 5 hens for one tom. currently I have 6 hens for one tom.
