Is one of my Orpingtons a Roo?

For some reason, if there is more than one rooster in the bunch there will be a dominant one that will develop before the rest. I had 8 Cuckoo Marans roosters and only one developed a red comb and waddles for the longest time the others did not. Then... they all developed them about the same time!

Yes, it is a slow developing rooster!

Edited for typos.

I agree. My alpha developed faster than my other roo.

Tdgill, You have beautiful Buff O's. The one on the right looks very similar to mine who i can't qiute figure out if he is a roo or a hen. He still is not crowing and is super super sweet. I think he is quite confused. I do how ever have a very dominant hen, an 8 month old leghorn. I think she thinks she is the Roo. LOL. Maybe that is why my Buff O is being very descrete about who he is.

I have 3 bos about 3 months now so far all look like girls but I do have one that is like the watch dog of the bunch ( i also have 3 barred rocks ) and FLO is always on the look out when i have them free ranging the backyard looking for grubs and baby lizards. She will be off on her own exploring. she is so cool and friendly and she is way more golden then the other two buffs.
