Is one of these chicks a Welsummer? Look similar but one has a tail but the other doesn’t

A ”rare assorted” surprise, should all be female chicks hatched 8/1 so 3.5 weeks old

They're either Brown Leghorns or Welsummers, its hard to tell at this age. Once they get a bit older If they have white earlobes and have that Leghorn body shape they're Brown Leghorns, if not they're Welsummers. Welsummers don't have white earlobes and their body shape is not slim compared to Leghorns. Whichever the breed both are pullets.

without tail would be welsummer , right? And the one with the long tail could be a legbar?

Both are Welsummers.
That’s blowing my mind that they could be the same when they look so different! Think the tailless one is a cockerel? I thought welsummers were pretty easy to sec from hatch so I’ll be disappointed if they gave me a male

The tailless one is a pullet, she's just feathering slower.
Both are pullets.

I got two Welsummers in February, both supposed to be pullets, one ended up being a cockerel. The cockerels are lighter in color than the pullets, pullets are darker. They also have different feather colors and your chicks have pullet feathering colors.
