Is our brahma a boy or girl?

Mainly because of the set of the tail as well as the development of the comb and wattles, I would guess boy, but it's hard to tell with these pictures. It also looks like he may be starting to get draping hackle feathers, too. Better pictures tomorrow will help.

What are draping hackle feathers?

Notice the black feathers that drape down Rocky's neck onto his shoulders. Those are hackle feathers. Also, you can see the white feathers draping at the base of Rocky's tail. Those are saddle feathers.

I'm thinking rooster, due to the amount of red on the face. Brahma's are a slow maturing breed, he may not be very obvious about it but I think it's male.

heres my 18 week old dark brahma rooster see no comb

and his waddles are JUST begining to develop.
