Is our sweet Easter Egger a Rooster?

I hope that we can find someone we know who will take him. I am so new at this and we have grown so attatched that this is so disappointing:)

Ohhh..does look rooish. Especially the dark red shoulders and tail. What does it's comb look like? But you never know, hope we're wrong. (Recently had to re-home three roosters, one was a beautiful E.E.

Unfortunately it does look male. If you aren't zoned for chickens you really shouldn't have bought them. If someone finds out they can be destroyed or at the least you would have to get rid of them.

We already found the Roo a good home with a friend who would gladly take them all if we every needed them to. But, all of our neighbors were talked to before we ever bought the chickens and all of them were excited for us to have them. They are fine.

I believe nearly everyone on BYC has experienced "surprise" roosters even when they have paid for sexed 'pullets'. My friend has been "fooled" 3 times.- her last is a special needs rooster (Tiffany) that no one would want - so she has him as her 'stealth chicken,'
